the fact is

I don't remember studying 

anything in school.

but later on in Boston

I had a peculiar hankerin’

to meet

a young woman from way

out west.

Mount Holyoke.

she studies at

Mount Holyoke, I could say,—

the sound of it

impressing my friends in Boston.

but
I never came to

find true love at

Mount Holyoke

but then

I met a young woman

studying almost everything at

Wellesley way back east.
